its been oh so long
the last month is a blurrr. photo update happening.
remember…
what it feels like to work on a movie for 12 hours, drink all night, take your shirt off at a bar and take a shot and smash it on the ground, then sleep for 3 hours, get up and try to make a movie for another 12 straight hours. oh yeah, and over half the people you partied with are all supposed to help out too, so good luck waking them all up. well, this is what it felt like for nick, i don’t recommend trying it yourself.
shangri-la
take a bite out of a dane photo blog, everyone else does. i took this photo though, so i have rights. i forget how busy summer can be, nonstop. but i will have to cite ferris bueller on this one, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
these are links and so can you
– I made a short article about the HDR program I bought, check it.
What new technology will Microsoft soon ruin with a terrible interface and tons of bugs and disconnects? view all your photos at once
There are tons of other interesting talks from there, that would never be broadcast. like this one about how school unpeoples children into mindless consumerbots.
Some crazy musician from the brainlab at MIT made this software. It could be cool, but apparently those MIT guys aren’t smart enough to offer it to the world for free, so no one will ever know about it.
and last, but not least, an advanced Photoshop tip. This is very useful if you have a clipping path you want to bind to a layer or group, so you can reposition or resize it.
and if you havent seen it, the big picture is a sweet site that they post pictures to all the time.
modus operandi
I shot photos from maybe one of the biggest nonpaying independent film shoots to ever go down in milwaukee. once i get all the photos cleared with danny trejo’s agent I will post them. continue the hype for modus operandi.
taste test
heres a taste of things to come. i nerded out a ton, and got a new toy.
blast ‘em

the final major shoot of the movie is done. i’d say about 2 more hours of shooting and post is fully on.
